UNT's Robocamp 2013
Summer 2013 - Denton, Frisco, Richardson, TX
Do you have science and technology-minded students who are interested in Robotics, Video Game Technology or Mobile App Development? If so we have a fantastic opportunity for you!!
The Convergence Technology Center, in cooperation with our partners in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas are bringing you a summer of fun and learning in the form of three summer camp programs. Robocamp, XBox Game Camp and the new AppCamp sessions will be held throughout the summer in Denton, Frisco and Richardson. The cost is reasonable, and many scholarships are available for Texas students that are entering grades 8-12 next year. The camp age range is 13-18 years old. Working Connections North

Working Connections IT Faculty Development Institute offers cutting-edge, cost-effect professional development opportunities to current high school and community college faculty that is often only available through expensive commercial training. Working Connections makes the newest technologies and industry trends available to attendees, as well as encourages the kind of networking and collaboration among educational and business leaders that can strengthen any IT educational program.
Working Connections training workshops offer several tracks that cover a range of the most in-demand topics in IT - including: EMC Cloud Infrastructure & Services, Ethical Hacking and Mobile Application Development. The goal of Working Connections is to provide attendees with the expertise needed to teach their respective track in a subsequent semester, bringing the most current information to their classrooms either as a stand-alone course or as supplemental information to an existing course.

NCPN Conference

ATE PI Conference

The ATE Principal Investigators conference brings together key people working on ATE projects across the country to focus on the critical issues related to advanced technological education. Conference attendees represent community colleges, business and industry, secondary school systems, four-year colleges, and research and development centers covering projects in a wide variety of areas such as: information technology, engineering technology, micro- and nanotechnologies, chemical technology, biotechnology, and others.
STEMtech Conference

The STEMtech conference is an international convening that emphasizes increasing student success in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at all levels. Over 400 sessions focus on improving STEM education, better aligning educational systems with each other and local workforce needs, and exploring technology's role in the teaching and learning processes.
